Hey everyone

Lately, I've been focused on getting a clearer picture of my finances and keeping track of all my financial accounts and assets. Initially, I wasn't feeling too motivated and started to make a dull spreadsheet to stay on top of things. But I quickly lost the little motivation I had and put this matter aside. Then I had a thought - why not build a website with some cool interactive charts and graphs to visualise my finances?

I am excited to introduce Cashtrackr, a simple tool designed to help you effortlessly track your wealth. With Cashtrackr, you can easily track your net worth, monitor all of your financial accounts and assets, and visualise your finances over time with interactive charts, all in one centralised dashboard.

Feel free to check it out!

Tracking after-tax wealth is nontrivial but informative. You will be taxed on 401(k) distributions as ordinary income, and if you have big unrealized capital gains on stock and ETF positions, you will be taxed on those gains when you sell.
